The original flywheel bell housing has been known to be Very Noisy. This is the new housing that comes as standard fitment to the later MY17+ / 2017+ R35 GTR and is also a direct replacement upgrade for all earlier Nissan R35 GTR models.

The earlier model Bell Housing is part of a factory technical service bulletin (TSB) for a loud rattle at idle. This is due to excessive play on the rear bearing / shaft Assembly that connects to the flange. This updated flywheel housing will usually solve that annoying rattling.
